Series 500 — 5 ¼” Plastic Valve Boxes

• Cast iron lid and top rim
• Cast iron rim permanently bonded to ABS Plastic top section.
• ABS Plastic top and bottom sections.
• Screw or slide adjustment.
• Available in various bell designs to fit assorted valves.
• Specify “Gas” or “Water”. Custom lettering available.
• Paving risers available, 1″-6″
• Specify rim style, lid, size number and bell design. (See pages 11 and 12)

Injection Molded Top & Bottom Sections

• Use cast iron PI or PI3 rim with injection molded top
• Top sections available in 9.5”, 15.5” and 24.5” length
• Bottom sections available in 20”, 24”, 36”, and 48” length
• Complete box consists of lid, cast iron top section and plastic bottom section.
• Fig. No. 8250 has flange at bottom of top section. Specify if not wanted.

Slide Extension

• For valves 16″ and smaller.
• Overall length of valve box in table will be 1 ½” less.
